GMRC has invited bids for a 10.26-km elevated Thaltej Gam–Godhavi stretch with eight planned stations as Ahmedabad Metro Phase 3 advances.
Ahmedabad Metro Phase 3 expansion has moved into a new tender stage. The Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation has invited bids for construction of a 10.26-km elevated viaduct from Thaltej Gam Dead End to Godhavi Dead End, with eight elevated stations planned along the stretch.
The Financial Express reported that the tender has an estimated value of ₹860.01 crore and was opened on October 1, 2026. Bids are scheduled to remain open until November 16, 2026. The corridor is intended to extend metro access towards growing residential and commercial areas beyond the existing Ahmedabad network.
This is a project and tender update, not a launch announcement. Construction timelines, station opening dates and the final service pattern will depend on the bidding process, contract award and subsequent execution.
