Priority corridor and expansion notes

The Red Line (Danapur Cantonment to Khemni Chak, 17.93 km) and Blue Line (Patna Junction to New ISBT, 14.55 km) are under construction, with the priority corridor (Malahi Pakri to New ISBT, 6.49 km) opening August 15, 2025. Phase 1 includes 26 stations (12 elevated, 12 underground), with interchanges at Patna Junction and Khemni Chak.

Patna Metro expansion plans

Phase 2 (Bypass Chowk to Deedarganj, 13 km) and Phase 3 (Bypass Chowk to Phulwari Sharif/AIIMS, 11 km) are planned, with Phase 4 (Didarganj to Fatuha Junction) and Phase 5 under consideration. Extensions to Bihta Airport and Ara are proposed.
