Kolkata Metro Railway has announced extra services on selected weekends ahead of Durga Puja. The additional trains are scheduled for October 3, 4, 10 and 11 to support commuters during the pre-festival rush.
On Saturdays, the Blue Line is scheduled to operate 272 services instead of 252, while the Green Line will run 236 services instead of 212. On the two Sundays, the Blue Line will have 188 services instead of 152 and the Green Line will operate 125 instead of 111.
The first and last service timings are not changing under this arrangement. Passengers should still check the latest station announcements before travelling, especially if they are connecting to lines with separate weekend schedules.
