Ahmedabad Metro has extended late-night services during Navratri 2026 to help Garba visitors return home after evening celebrations. The special schedule is applicable from October 14 to October 19, with the final departure depending on the corridor and direction of travel.

Ahmedabad Metro late-night schedule

On the Vastral Gam–Thaltej Gam corridor, the last train is scheduled to leave Vastral Gam at 2:00 am and Thaltej Gam at 2:12 am. Trains on this corridor will run at roughly 30-minute intervals between 11:30 pm and 2:00 am.

The APMC–Koteshwar Road corridor will also have late services. The last train from APMC towards Koteshwar Road is scheduled at 2:14 am, while the last service from Koteshwar Road towards APMC is scheduled at 2:07 am.

The APMC–Sector-1 route will operate at a longer interval. The last departure is scheduled at 12:44 am from APMC towards Sector-1 and at 12:38 am from Sector-1 towards APMC. This corridor is expected to run at about 60-minute intervals during the extended window.

Special ticket rule

A special ₹50 paper ticket will be available during the extended operating hours. The ticket is intended for a single passenger and can be purchased at Metro stations. Passengers should check the station counter for the applicable travel conditions before boarding.

What commuters should remember

The time printed for the final train is not identical on every route. A passenger leaving a Garba ground at 1:45 am should therefore confirm the boarding station and direction instead of relying on a general “Metro till 2 am” message. Event exit queues, walking time and security checks can also affect the journey.

Passengers should reach the station before the last departure, keep the ticket safely and follow staff instructions. The extended Metro service offers a public-transport option for late-night Navratri travel, but it does not replace a same-day check at the station for route-specific changes.
