Delhi Durga Puja 2026: how to check a committee’s schedule before visiting
Delhi puja committees are publishing different local schedules. Check the organiser’s notice for timings, venue access and programme details before travelling.
Delhi’s Durga Puja celebrations are organised by many separate committees, so there is no single citywide opening time for every pandal. The Ajanta Samiti in Jahangir Puri, for example, publishes its own 2026 schedule with ritual days and programme details.
That committee-by-committee model is useful for visitors: choose the neighbourhood first, open the organiser’s latest notice and then plan the nearest metro or road connection. A search result that only says Durga Puja Delhi may not contain the timings for the venue you want to visit.
Carry water, expect queues and respect photography restrictions. On high-footfall evenings, keep a backup route and avoid blocking residential entrances.
This is a planning guide, not a claim that one committee’s programme applies to all Delhi events.
